Charles Henry Brent founded Brent School Baguio in 1909. The first aim for the development of this international school was to provide boarding school for American families who reside in the country. Because Brent School Baguio succeeds in offering good education to students, the board of directors establishes units of the school in other parts of the Philippines including in Manila City and Binan, Laguna.

International Baccalaureate Program and Special Educational Programs

Brent School Baguio follows standards for offering International Baccalaureate Program. Grades 11 and 12 students in the school have three choices regarding the International Baccalaureate Program. They can take the full educational program. Students can also take examinations related to the program to get certificates or they can enroll in the program and do not take examinations.

Aside from International Baccalaureate Program, Brent School Baguio offers other special programs including English as a Special Language Support Program and Special Needs and the Learning Support Service Program.
