Benguet’s Princess Apartelle, Baguio City
Located between Cresencia Village and Guisad District, Princess Apartelle, Baguio is about 20 to 30 minutes away from the city proper by car or public jeepney, depending on the traffic.
It is a 4-floor apartment-type hotel building with a roof top, simply and symmetrically designed on the outside, with the stairway placed in the middle and dividing the building in half. Princess Apartelle, Baguio has ample parking space in front.
From its roof top the hotel provides a good view of lush green scenery around Princess Apartelle, Baguio, broken by wooden houses with steep triangular roofs, some with lovely attics. Nearby hills are also in plain view with steep rooftops and peeking windows, all adding up to the romantic view.
Exactly located at 105-227 Ferguson Road, Princess Apartelle, Baguio has fully furnished individual units, some units having small rooms, a living room, and a kitchenette. Each unit has TV sets, a small ref, cooking utensils, clean toilet and bath, and other things a vacationing family would find handy for a comfy stay.
A stay at Princess Apartelle, Baguio is from Php 2500 to Php 5000 per day, depending on the type and size of room we choose. The place is perfect for family use, a small group, or honeymooners. Looking out the hotel windows or from the rooftop provides a stimulating sightseeing.
Ferguson Road is located west of Baguio City Hall. Take Quirino Highway at the back of city hall and go straight west until we find this road, past L’Orange Tapas, the PLDT office, and St. Vincent Church. Ferguson Road snakes through up and down Guisad Central until it reaches Princess Apartelle, Baguio to the left side.
There are public jeepneys plying the Guisad route and we may take them to and from Princess Apartelle, Baguio. Some jeepneys stop at the city proper, some at the city market. Others near city hall. Quirino Highway, south of Ferguson, is where we find some banks, but we need to go to the city hall area for other necessities like groceries, pharmacies, food, and eateries.
The first stop of our tour from Princess Apartelle, Baguio is logically Lourdes Grotto, being the nearest, on Mirador Hill. Just tell the cab driver to drop you off at “Grotto” and we’d be there in no time. Next stop is the city market on Magsaysay Avenue, and then Burnham Park.
Princess Apartelle, Baguio is a perfect example of segregating ourselves from any city hustle and bustle. It hides us in a hilly haven.
